Suckle Daddy’s Sugar Ball

We’re starting to ramp up again boys! We’ve got a couple gold hits on our hands including:

Unreal Tournament 2004

Battlefield Vietnam

Prince of Persia: Sands of Time

The roommates are signed on for the first two, and let me take a moment to tell you about a wonderful person. Stephen Crosby is a professional back seat video gamer. He’s got the perfect mix of supporting the gamer while not trying to take over. For Prince of Persia there’s no better wingman than him, his hourly rate is reasonable too. Here’s to you Stephen Crosby, professional video game helper guy.

Finally, they have taken Golf out of the Model, and now they have Big Buck Hunter instead. I am now making it my goal to get better at the game. More on this later.

It’s good to be back in the gaming forum. About to purchase UT 2004 and possibly Ghost Recon (I hate the Russians). Have been playing Links Championship edition. Great graphics. Looking most forward to Doom III. Although, pending lawsuit against ID Games for false advertising with “Final Doom” not going too well.

Here’s some gaming news. I finished Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee.

It’s great game for being over four years old now. Not to mention that a side-scrolling game like this is just what you need when you have (a) no time to play games for more than 30 minutes at a stretch (b) gotten tired of first-person shooters (c) a hangover. The graphics, sound and music are top-notch and it’s games like this that make me wonder where all the creativity in game development has gone. Enough on that…

I also finished No One Lives Forever. It’s a spy adventure set in the 70’s (very much like Austin Powers). Funnier than your average FPS and the array of weapons and gadgets is pretty extensive. Play it if for no other reason than to run a man down with a snowmobile.

“Hey guys. Check out my butt.”

On top of all this, I picked up Tron 2.0 and Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare at EB for $5 each. It doesn’t stop there. I also got Unreal Tournament 2004 and Battlefield: Vietnam. These have all been put on the shelf to be finished by 2008.

It’s good to see that Busta has left. I look forward to more good times here. What new features does Jeffrey have in store for us (besides his beard) one can only guess. My position on gaming has softened a bit and I’ve been playing an adventure game called Syberia with my wife. So far it sucks…. I’m just waiting until the new Sam and Max is released.
