Product Reviews with Mac Gray

I’m fired up about this so I just had to post it. I’m actually going to relate this to gaming just to make my post relevant to the site. So about two months ago I bought these Apple in-ear headphones. I gotta have the Apple ones so that other people with iPods will nod when they walk past me. It’s a cool little club, so go spend $300 and join us. Back to the headphones, I can honestly say this is worst purchase I’ve made in a very long time. These things suck. I began to think that perhaps there was something wrong with my ears. Jeff mentioned that for some people they just don’t work. Demoralized I went back to the regular Apple earbuds.

Flash forward to yesterday, I was in need of headphones and driving by Best Buy. On a whim I picked up the Sony In-ears. My review? Holy crap! These are great! I spent some time playing WoW on the thinkpad with them and I was very very impressed. Mobile gaming at its best. Also, the left ear bud has a shorter wire than the right so you never have to look at them to figure which is which. I think quite a few people told me how good these Sony’s were, but I didn’t listen. Anyway the final verdict:

Suck vs. No Suck

Devotional Time

I went and did it, I started a new World of Warcraft Character. I can say this, I wasn’t having fun playing WoW recently and now I am. Basically, I was playing a class that was broken (in bad way). Blizzard’s fixing it but in the meantime they had to scale back the abilities so that they can fix it. I know that doesn’t make any sense to me either but its hard to know you’re walking around and you’re not quite as ‘adequate’ as everyone else. Its one thing to think this, its another to hear the publisher of the game inform you of it. I will probably go back to my old character, but for now this one is ton of fun. Besides, its always fun to beat up the neighborhood bully…

Hogger

On a related note, and I’ve been meaning to post this for a while. WoW has renewed my interest in PC Gaming. If anyone has any particular titles they consider ‘must play’ then I would definitely be interested. I’m a whore when it comes to graphics so its gotta be made within the last year or two if I am even going to consider playing it.

By the way, did you guys know all this stuff about Vin Diesel?

MG asks WTF?

So, I guess RibbitKing is like golf. I’ve been sent to another planet to save my planet through playing golf or Floff as they call it. Instead of using a putter and a ball though, you have to hit a frog on the ass and he jumps into the hole. Needless to say from the picture above, I beat the pants off the computer. The computer hit his frog directly into a tree 6 times in a row.

A Double Disc?

Posted by Mike G on Sunday, March 13, 2005

After a week in California and no ability to play World of Warcraft, I came home all excited to level up with a huge rested bonus. I first had to go through my mail, you know my J. Crew Catalog, 2 L.L. Bean catalogs, PC Connection and Victoria’s Secret. Oh and there was one other thing…. this:

Ribbit This

Double D

Two Discs??? Isn’t that breaking some sort of International Humanity Law?

I’ll be getting started this evening.

I’m still playing plenty of World of Warcraft. And I think someone requested dead things instead of me jumping off stuff, well here you go:

Dead Bodies Everywhere

Gamestop has a deal where if you buy two used games you get a third one for free. So all you gotta do is grab two roommates and go down there. At least that’s what I did. If the other games we got are good I will post something but for now X-men Legends.

Legends

I’m a huge fan of co-op games on any platform so I was really excited to have all of us play this on Xbox. We got home from the store and put the game in only to find out that you have to play for like an hour on single player before you can even get one other person to play with you. Its all for the plot of the game, but still. They had left the room by the time I found the one-eyed wonder (that’s Cyclops). Anyway, its a fun RPG, and it reminds me of D&D Heroes and Gaunlet Legends, both excellent games.

Such great memories. Apparently they are going to make the page in a language I understand. That would be wonderful.

Eat My Bomb: Sweet 16

Ok so I’ve made a tentative name for the crappy game secret santa and I put together a table of what consoles people have. If something isn’t on here, just add it to the comments of this post and I will update the table.

I think it would definitely be funny to get the random crappy game in the mail. Anyone got any idea how we can pick each other’s addresses out of a hat virtually? Man, I sound like a dork. This way though, it would be pretty damn funny to get two posts out of the deal, the first one being a digital picture of what game you got in the mail. And Jeff, Dan needs an account. Also, how about a category for this activity once we have a final name? And thanks for making the comment font bigger.
