As I gradually make my way through the twisted underworld to save Annie, I’m finding that I always want to punch the eskimo and little old man who continue to try and thwart my fun by saying unacceptable things like “Nothing here”, and “I can’t see without my glasses.” My attitude toward this game may seem a little belligerent but I am only preparing for Goonies III: Return of The Punisher.

I must say I think the choices for action in this game are hilarious. What else could I want to do in a game that’s not covered by GO, HIT, TAKE, or TOOLS? I’d like to GO inside, HIT the eskimo, TAKE his wallet then demolish his igloo with one of my many TOOLS.

I had this for Nintendo back in the day and have finished it a couple times. It’s very addictive. I like their rendition of Cyndi Lauper’s “Goonies Are Good Enough” that plays during the first couple of log cabin screens. The Ice levels are pretty difficult. I still hold a grudge against penguins with sunglasses.
