The EMB Game Club

Posted by Dodongo on Saturday, October 29, 2005

I’ve decided to follow the recommendations of my fellow gamers (namely AJ and Dan) in my recent game purchase. I was at EB and found Sphinx and The Cursed Mummy for $7 and Prince of Persia: Warrior Within for about $17. Two games from Eat My Bomb’s Game Club for $25, how can I refuse?

This will be a great opportunity to get a second opinion on these two titles and a refreshing change from all the vintage gaming I’ve been doing lately. I can’t wait to enjoy 3D rendered graphics again…

**Edit** By the way, it has come to my attention that many of you have no idea what I’m satirizing with the image above. Apparantly I am the only one here who has heard of Oprah’s Book Club. Well, in the hope that my hours of work trying to match Oprah’s logo were not in vain, here’s what it may look like if you were to, oh I don’t know, shop for a book at a bookstore?

You lost me. Is this a declaration that a console is only as good as its available titles? Or is this an outburst displaying a rejuvenated bloodlust for playing games through the cold months of fall and winter? Or are you drunk?

If it sucks AJ, you’ll be hearing from my lawyer.
