Nostalgia can be a very hard sentiment to ignore

This picture has nothing to do with the following post.

Hi, remember us? We’re the Eat My Bomb editors. Don’t think that we haven’t been gaming the last few months and that’s why the posts have dried up like Phyllis Diller’s forehead. No, it’s more that we’ve gamed SO MUCH that we didn’t have time to write.

That of course is nonsense - so I am here to lay down the gauntlet to re-invigorate our editors into a renewed excitement about posting stories.

That, and to let everyone know that several of us have decided to go upstairs into the attic, push aside the old videos and evidence of that failed heist in ‘93, and pull out the ole World of Warcraft. It’s been at least a year for many of us and myself and Brixtone have decided to give it one more try from scratch. I will actually be going double-time as my main, Dragnut, never did reach level 70 (still at 58) and he only scratched the surface of Outland. Ruckus is still an active player and we’re trying to convince some others to join the fold as well.

Lenny.

I’ll keep you posted on our progress as well as the rest of us on games like COD and UT which we are playing and are about to be playing, respectively.

Welcome back EMB. I thought you was dead and gone. Let’s see how long it takes for more of you to check the site. I’ve long since taken it off my favorites.

I’m sad to see our first post back is about WoW. Sad.

Wow, just like that pet lizard you *thought* was dead (cause he wasn’t moving and smelled pretty bad), the stinky old beast heaves up one more fetid breath (foetid for all you in the UK). Awesome. I check back here every once in a while to see if there is a post (and hence the start of the End Times) so I am thoroughly surprised. I thought Brixtone had whacked it on the back of the head with a 2×4 and buried it for good. I, too, have started yet another WoW alt, as well as checking to EQ2, Conan, and PoTBS to see how they’re fairing. All I can say is, if there is still life in the old girl, I’m willing to jump in a swim a few more laps.
