I thought Halo 3 was just more of the exact same thing--which I guess was the point but to someone who never cared much about the Halo franchise to begin with, it didn't make me a convert. (However, it will be on my Winter Games list to actually finish). Supreme Commander, although it added a few new wrinkles to the RTS genre,lacked (for me) character and visual detail and appeal.
