thinking outside the (x) box (360)

My XBox 360 arrived home from the repair center yesterday. Well, not my xbox, but an xbox. It got me to thinking about the tens of thousands of machines that will need to be disposed of or recycled. Below are a few solutions to consider Note to any companies seeking a creative director: this is the kind of outside the paradigm, creative thinking I do all the time.

xboxtargets.jpg Target practice!

A take note.

Are you just getting your 360 back? A month later? Also, those two kids’ hands in that bottom photo are precariously close to, um…well… his extension cord.

Glad to hear you’re back in the 360 business. I look forward to “throwing down” with you in Gears of War or perhaps some hardcore Settlers of Catan.

I’m curious if you’ve noticed the same change as I did when I got back my slightly improved Xbox 360 from Microsoft’s repair center. Do you find the DVD drive to be spinning more slowly in general? I was pleased by the noise reduction of this change but somewhat annoyed by the loading time before bits of dialogue in games like Oblivion.

Yes, I have noticed a slight reduction in noise. Other changes seem to be that the voices coming from the machine when it’s not on are much easier to understand, and of course the sandalwood scent–which I personally like much better than the lemon lime of the old machine. Except for the fact that now the default (and only) language is Spanish, everything is golden. Odio esta máquina de mierda.
