Theoretically chaotic

No Mexicans were harmed in the making of this standoff
I am absolutely loving this year’s Winter Games, because I feel like I’m making a whole lot of progress on some truly enjoyable titles that I’d put down for one inexcusable reason or another. Today’s bomb du jour comes courtesy of Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, the 3rd title in the popular stealth franchise.
One of the biggest additions to this entry is levels that finally utilize multiple pathways to completion, along with a rating scorecard at the end of the missions. This increases the replayability of the single player mode significantly, but also drags things out even longer than previously. Shooting for a 100% rating means zero casualties, zero detection, zero alarms, completion of all objectives (including the bonus ones you won’t know about), and you better fly through the mission. All told though, they did a bang-up job of bringing something new to the table and more importantly, I’ve cleared it from my itinerary.
On to Double Agent!
